updated 30 January, 2012: Burgee contest, WYC events, District Rendezvous
Windsor Power and Sail Squadron will be turning 75 next year. Here's your opportunity to participate and have your name go down in CPS history.
In honour of the 75th anniversary, the Windsor Squadron (the original unit of CPS) has been tasked with coming up with a new 75th burgee design for squadrons who turn 75.
Shown is the 50th anniversary version of the Windsor burgee. It has a gold band added at the staff of the burgee. All squadrons who turn 50 follow this same design.
Now that some are turning 75, we need a new design to submit to CPS. The one chosen will be adopted for every squadron in Canada who turns 75. Wouldn't you like to know that it was your design that was chosen? The winner will receive a free 75th Windsor burgee (valued at $25.00).
Please email your ideas to tberekoff@cogeco.ca by June 1, 2012.

In response to your previous email, requirements for a radio station license are applicable to vessels of 65' or greater, towing vessels of 26' or greater and commercial passenger vessels as found in 47 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 80.951. For example, a 25' CA registered recreational vessel is not required to have a station license. If you have any further questions please let me know.
