Welcome to Edmonton Power & Sail Squadron
CPS is a Canada wide organization offering boating safety courses, including power and sail navigation courses as well as Canadian Coast Guard accredited boating courses that lead to the Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC), popularly known as the Boat Licence.
Each year, CPS members teach a variety of courses to 10,000 or more concerned boaters in the general public across Canada. The Edmonton Squadron has been providing training to Edmonton area boaters since 1965. Our members include both power and sail enthusiasts who boat in waters close to Edmonton and around the world.
CPS is a non-profit organization incorporated under the Companies Act (Canada), and its administrative and instructional work is done by members – without remuneration. To locate squadrons in other areas of Canada, please see the CPS national web site.
