Recreational Vessel Courtesy Checks (RVCC)

This is one of the squadron's two major ways to promote boating safety; the other is training. These checks help boaters to be safe and legal. Windsor Squadron did the most of any Squadron in Canada in 2012: 124 checks, of those 109 Boats were considered complete and 15 were considered incomplete. 11 Members are trained to participate in the program throughout Essex County.

RVCC's in 2012 were done at:
  • Leamington Marina Safety Day
  • Belle River Marina Opening
  • South Port Sailing Club
  • Lakeview Park Marina
  • Riverside Marina
  • Windsor Yacht Club
  • Holiday Harbour Marina
  • Ranta Marina – PWC Prostate Ride in July

We are available upon request for most any event or date with proper notice. Call now to book your event for 2013.
