Maritime radio is a great way to connect to information and assistance from your location on the water. Anyone on board using the radio must have a Restricted Operator's Certificate (Maritime) (ROC(M)), so this course could be a family affair! In addition to emergency radio procedures you'll discover the advantages of everyday operating techniques; the many uses of maritime radios, operation, phonetic alphabet, procedural words and phrases as well as Digital Selective calling and the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System(DSC/GMDSS).
