The Canadian Power and Sail Squadron Boating Basics manual, shown on the left, covers the material needed to pass the written test. The manual may be purchased on-line from the CPS Ship's Store or locally from the Marine Museum, 55 Ontario Street. It is provided when you take the CPS Boating Basics Seminar.
When you are ready to write the test please contact the Marine Museum to schedule your test. If you would rather attend a two evening seminar which includes the Manual and Test, please select the PCOC Seminar listing in the Course Schedule. The Course Schedule also lists other boating courses offered locally.
The Canadian Power and Sail Squadron PCOC is valid in Canada and the US.
