Event Date Event Description Event Location Squadron: Nanoose Course: Boating Sep 2 7:00PM2010 Fall Boating Course Be legal. Proof of Operator competency to operate boats with engines was mandatory in September 2009.
Our boating class provides this and MUCH MORE. Be safe on the water with your family. These are some of the finest boasting waters in the world but can be challenging.
Instruction provides 13 classes of in depth boat operation and safety training and the challenge of plotting and navigation. Successful completion of the accredited mid-term examination will also allow you to receive your Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). Passing the final exam allows you the opportunity to join CPS (Canada ’s largest association of recreational boating enthusiasts) and receive the benefits of membership, including potential favourable boat and home insurance discounts, hotel and car rental savings, savings on purchase of boating/nautical equipment and receipt of Canadian Yachting Magazine.
Included in the course fee are the comprehensive course manual, a CD and free first year membership of CPS.
