Cambridge 2012 ~ Join us celebrating 50 years on April 21, 2012 at the Galt Country Club.  Cocktails at 6:00 PM, dinner at 7:00. 
 
Chief Commander Richard Bee will be attending the dinner, take a few minutes to welcome him to our community.
 
Vincent Nevidon is presenting the new squadron burgee and telling us how he designed the orginal.  John and Yvonne Newbery have a presentation on the building of their 32 foot trawler "Indaba".  A local steel drum band "Acoustic Steel" is preforming a concert after dinner to help our dinner settle.
 
We have door prizes from Applebee's, Rona, Valet Car Wash, Home Depot, The Blackshop, Frito-Lay and CAS Power Marine.
 
To round out the evening we will have boat races too.

One Girl's Ocean Challange is the name of the Mini 650 ocean racer that Diane Reid sails. She is in France, the boat has arrived, they are ready to compete in the qualifing races.
 
 
 
TAKE A CPS BOATING COURSE
 
CPS offers courses on marine navigation, required equipment, GPS and radar, weather, marine maintenance, trailering, and VHF radio. Instructors in the Cambridge Squadron help recreational boaters improve their boating safety knowledge and operational skills.

Do you have your required Marine Radio Certificate?
 
The Restricted Operator Certificate is a government issued certificate that allows you to legally operate your marine VHF radio. The certificate is required for all operators of marine band radios.
