Winter Social - The Odd Couples Trip:
 
Held on Friday February 3, 2012.
 
Thanks to Hugh and Les for an enjoyable evening reminiscing about their non-sailing trip up the Rideau and back last summer
 
 
Whether you wanted to get info for such a trip or just wanted a boating fix and enjoy a great boating adventure on a cold winter night , it filled the spot.
 
 
Congratulations to Ray and Ian who out bid the crowd and won the right to crew with Les and Hugh as they bring their boats back through the Welland Canal next summer.  They will be transiting the Erie Barge Canal next summer (this mastless thing is contagious.)

PCOC News
 
Effective June 1st 2011, CPS has been granted permission by Transport Canada to issue PCOC cards for CPS Competencies acqured prior to April 1st, 1999.
 
What's "new" - Prior to June 1st, CPS was not permitted to issue "cards" and you were required to carry the actual Certificate issued at the time as "Proof of Competency".
 
Active Members can obtain a PCOC for $20.00. Inactive members, past members, and non-members can request a non-refundable archive search for $20.00 and a PCOC, if qualified, for $20.00.
